The reference row,
built to the cable.

A wire management manufacturer sells hangers, clips, fuse holders and ties that each have to install a particular way on a particular tracker and module. Drawings and spec sheets explain it on paper. Their sales team needed customers to see it.

01 / What it does

A site walk without the site.

F-01

Walk it

Move along the row like a site walk. Each product introduces itself as you approach.

F-02

Configure it

Switch model, finish, length and style. The whole row rebuilds with the chosen part, and the catalog number, specs, photo, spec sheet and drawing update with it.

F-03

Watch it install

Each product plays its field installation. Step through it, replay it, or slow it to 0.4×.

F-04

See through it

X-ray the modules to show the cable path, and sweep the trackers ±55° to show the clearance it needs.

02 / Tour

Six stations, in install order.

The tour follows the golden row, the reference row every other row is built to match. A presenter can step through it with the arrow keys or jump straight to any station.

  1. S-01

    The reference row

The full tracker and module build, set up exactly as the install spec describes.

  2. S-02

    Key-hole hangers

The positive harness, hung from each module's top wire-management hole.

  3. S-03

    Fuse holders

Each string's in-line fuse, every fifth module, in the lower hole.

  4. S-04

    Cable hangers

The negative harness on four hanger styles, traced from the sales drawings.

  5. S-05

    Torque-tube ties

Module jumpers secured on the tube with ties, straps and buckles.

  6. S-06

    Edge clips

Clips on the saddle bracket at every bearing, in three lengths and two materials.

03 / Engineering

Accurate enough for an engineer to check.

Industrial buyers notice when a part is out of place. Every placement and routing decision is traced to the manufacturer's install spec and sales drawings.

E-01 · Cable length

Each module lead is modeled at its true length. Its route down the torque tube is solved so the cable is exactly that long and hangs with real slack.

E-02 · Bearings

Where a lead can't reach across a bearing gap, it runs low through the journal and rests on the saddle where the edge clips hold it. The connector sits exactly where the lead runs out.

E-03 · Harness sag

Harness trunks rest at the lowest point of each hanger's loop under gravity, and sag between hangers the way they do in the field.

E-04 · Wire forms

Hanger shapes are traced from the sales drawings and posed clear of the module frame. Each one is a real part, not a stand-in.
